Can I get some help with my poor reception?

Both my wife and I experience the same poor reception. Is it a cell phone tower issue, a connection issue or is it the phone?

NOT THE PHONE, ITS DEVELOPERS OF UPDATES, AND NETWORK, TRY RESETTING ALL NETWORK SETTINGS, AND PUT LOCATION IN POWER SAVE MODE, AND TURN OFF HD VOICE.

Good luck. I have been plagued by dreadful reception and voice quality on my iPhone 6S for over 1 year now. In my home, I get 1 bar (field test mode of -121 db) while my wife's iPhone 6S Plus and my son's iPhone 5S get 3 bars (field test mode of -75db) in a side by side comparison. I have approached Verizon on this many, many times and have opened many "service tickets". Essentially, my iPhone is useless at home (and marginal in "urban areas") while my wife and son enjoy good reception and voice quality on their phones. Initially, Verizon blamed the phone, however, referred me to have Apple replace it - even though I "leased" it via Verizon. Apple, being a good company, ran extensive diagnostics on my phone and said it was perfect, They, nonetheless, replaced it with  brand new one - to no avail. Verizon has replaced the SIM crd twice and "go through the motions" (IMHO) of pretending to troubleshoot their network, only to tell me that I live in a "fringe reception area". There seems to be no explanation with why the other 2 phones, side-by-side, have such a disparity in signal strength. At NO TIME whatsoever, did Verizon offer (or, even suggest) that they replace this useless phone. After "trouble ticket" submissions, I get (days later) a text or email advising me that the ticket has been closed. No explanation as to what, if anything, was done, and what the results were. I have to "chase down" an explanation and end up with nothing other than "fringe reception area" - nobody seems to be able to explain why our 2 other phones are problem free. Verizon has very, very poor customer service. It is incredibly poor customer support when not even an offer is made to replace my phone, but, instead they fingerprint at Apple and suggest I go to them. When my "lease" is up, I'm off to T-Mobile. To the OP, be ready for a long, protracted, uneventful litany of poor customer service (on top of your poor reception service). Just sharing....
