My iPhone will not let me send calls or receive calls

I have been having the same problem with sending and receiving calls all day... everyone I knowis having the same issue. Your tech said to turn the phone off... turn on airplane mode and turn it off... yadayada... They were not even aware that there was a problem in my area... and yet it seems to be with everyone. What is going on and when will it be resolved
