My iPhone 12 with IOS 16.2 has not been able to receive text messages from Android phones or from automated phone systems such as those sending a code for two-step verification since November. I have been to my local Verizon store three times where they have replaced two SIM cards, did a hard reset of the phone, and checked all settings. This is very frustrating since it makes it difficult to communicate with not only friends but also with companies like our local power company who couldnโt text me during a recent power outage. I have had to change settings to get emails rather than text messages from my bank and other vendors. I am renovating my home and have many contractors who cannot reach me because they have Android system phones. PLEASE HELP!!
