I have five (5) IMAP email accounts. I have been a Verizon customer for more than a few years. I just traded in my Samsung Galaxy S9+ for an iPhone 14 at my local Verizon store. Now, two (2) of the IMAP email accounts that worked perfectly on the S9+ won't work on the iPhone 14. Both accounts are based on cPanel accounts I have with GoDaddy and Arvixe. The same address and server information that worked on the S9+ (as well as PC-based email clients such as MS Outlook and Gnome Evolution will not work on the iPhone 14. Basically, the iPhone 14 cannot do the necessary SSL verification that is essential for sending and receiving email. None of the information given on several web-based instructions and videos appears to work in my case, Other IMAP such as BellSouth, Cox, and Spectrum work fine on the iPhone 14.
