I had storms in my area tonight and my power flickered a few times, which brought down my WiFi. While my husband worked on bringing our wifi back up, I turned off WiFi on my phone, thinking that I would be able to look up the weather on my phone. However, nothing would connect. I couldn't get the local news app to connect, I could not do a search in Safari, and I couldn't even send/receive blue messages. I was able to send green texts, but I wasn't always able to receive the replies. I made sure Cellular data was on (it was). I restarted my phone. Same thing. I toggled Cellular data, but it didn't help either. Now that WiFi is back up, if I turn WiFi off, I still have the issue with Cellular Data not flowing. What's going on? Is there an issue with Verizon network? I'm in zip code 75074.

livingtx We definitely want to check the issue with your data service. Does the device show any LTE or 5G signal? ~Peter

5G. It did start working. However, I was disappointed that my service wasn't working when I needed it to check the weather.
