Under my account my plan (Get More Unlimited) shows that apple music is included in my plan yet Verizon is charging me 9.99 for the subscription. Is anyone else having this issue? I keep getting the run around by Verizon Reps why this is happing.

Usually is related to using different Apple IDs.

I never changed my apple ID. I tried to remove the add on and when I reenroll it doesn't give me the option for free like it did before. It only gives me the option to pay 9.99 a month but my plan says its included for free.

I had the exact same problem last year. Verizon offered me the same service for my three devices on the Get More plan at $5 less per month. Even though 5G is a useless gimmick, of course I switched. Then I was charged $9.99 for Apple Music. I talked to two reps live and they both claimed they "couldn't see it" on my account. But I was seeing it on my bill. Geez. I eventually went into the Verizon app on my phone and was able to dig around and turn it off. That removed the charge from my bill but it was still included free with my service. It probably took me a couple of hours to deal with something so silly. Check your app and good luck.

That definitely doesn't right, since the Get More Unlimited plan does include Apple Music. We'd be glad to help look into this issue with you, ghallak. Did you sign up for Apple Music before or after getting the Get More Unlimited plan?

I had the Get More Unlimited plan prior to the iPhone 12 Pro that I got. My account was switched to the Get More Unlimited 5G plan under miscommunication. I had apple music the entire time. When the representative switch my account back to my original plan I started getting charged the $9.99. I asked the rep if this was right and they told me that I should not get charged as its part of the plan. When my next bill came out sure enough I was charged the cost. Now I keep getting the run around of why I am being charged that even though under my account it says its included.

I have called multiple times and have been told three times by the representative someone will contact me about this issue. They opened a ticket for me and still no one has reached out to me. Every time I contact them they say someone will reach out the next day. I am getting sick of Verizon and I am ready to jump ship and it’s not just this issue but other issues I have had with them. The customer service is horrible.

I have a line on my plan with Get More Unlimited and Apple Music is not charged on it, but my line that is not subscribed to Apple Music. Just caught this has been going on for 7 months. Talked to Apple as the Verizon rep told me I had to do and Apple had no record of me ever signing up for Apple Music. Just disappointed beyond belief!

Yes, I am currently having this issue.
Rep told me that I would need to go through apple, but there is nothing on my apple subscriptions that show I am getting charged $9.99 for apple music. Rep told me that Apple is charging me through Verizon.
This subscription is only going through verizon and not apple. I already have an existing Apple Music account and would want a refund on this matter.

I have been getting a run around for about a year now. Basically I had free apple music on my line but if you add apple music to another device with the same apple id you get charged the $9.99 instead of it being free. In my case my FREE apple music changed to $9.99 with Verizon and I was also bein charge for apple music through Apple for $9.99 for 16 months. I called in about this for a year and no answers until today. So that is $173.03 I have been billed for 16 months of apple music that should have been FREE since tied to my cell phone number. I was also being validly charged by apple for my iPad line another $173.03. The Best Verizon can do for me at this point is credit me $20 for "not being told what was going on".?? Also, I don't even get good signal (rep said 33%?) and have been with Verizon since 2016. I need some help Verizon and I have always reached out and no help. I got the "Get More Unlimited Plan" in Sept. of 2020 and it is Jan 2022 and just finding out about this apple issue. Not once did I get FREE apple music for my phone line. beyond Frustrated at this point. Rep on phone said they can get me to a manager but basically the manager will not do anything about it.

At this point i can switch to Cricket wireless and get signal at my home 100% and pay less then 1/2 of what I am paying with Verizon. I am a loyal customer and I stick with what I know. but maybe change is better sometimes.

Hello, brittanypodolak.
Thank you for reaching out about this issue. Only one Apple ID can receive the free Apple Music subscription. Additional subscriptions you would need to pay for through Apple. We want to ensure all options were offered to correct this and ensure that you get the most value for your money. Please feel free to send us a Private Note for assistance.
