I bought my phone yesterday and have not had any problems with my phone, but my home PC has had a lot of issues with maintaining a connection with the WiFi in the house. Came home today and had the same issue, turned the WiFi off on the iPhone and haven't had another issue. Anyone have any idea of why this would happen and is there a fix for it or do I just need to not let my phone connect to my router?

It might be an issue with your router (not the iPhone per se). Do you know if your router firmware is up to date?
