My SIM card says it's locked and I need a PUK code. How do I get one? Can't call or text.
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
If you're unable to locate the PUK code via your My Verizon account, you'll need to contact Customer Service, assuming you have access to another phone, or use the chat option via the Contact Us link at the top of the page (if you're using the desktop version of the forum). Your local corporate VzW store may be able to look it up for you.
I'm not using the desktop version and can't find someone to chat with here.
Can you use WiFi with no SIM, and then choose the Desktop View from your mobile browser settings?
Were you not able to locate your PUK code via your My Verizon account? You can Request the Desktop Site of the forum via your browser settings. This is primarily a customer-to-customer forum and responses by VzW reps aren't guaranteed; when they do answer, it's sometimes a few days.
I'm using wi go but when I try to get desktop version it puts me in mobile.
In this situation, if there is no other mobile browser you can download to use and no other phone to call from, store to visit, or computer to use, you might can try Skype or similar to make a wifi call. Outside of that, I'm out of ideas.
Have you tried clicking the Request Desktop Site in your browser settings and then manually entering the www.verizonwireless.com web site address? That usually works for me.
does safari offer that option (I've not seen it) or is only Chrome? that's an important distinction
