I can only access data when I am on Wi-Fi. I have an Iphone 6S, which is a replacement phone that I purchased from simply Mac. I have had it roughly 3 months, and all was well, until a few weeks ago and there was no precipitating factor that I can recall or pinpoint.
Anytime I try to access the Internet away from Wi-Fi, all I will see in the upper left-hand corner is “1x”, which I have come to understand means no service.
When I try to access the web browser, I just keep getting an attempt to load and then I will finally get a message that says “no data connection is currently allowed”.
I am with Verizon, and I have them try to evaluate the problem, to the point of putting in a “ticket quote for an advanced technical person to try and see if anything is going on, on their end.
After about five days of them going back-and-forth, I get a resolution text that says I can’t get data, maybe because the reception is not good. [Removed]. When I am at home everyone else can access data without a Wi-Fi connection, except my phone.

Having a good data signal is important. Let's try re-seating the SIM card. Please turn off your phone and remove the SIM card. If the SIM card looks OK, re-install it, power your device on and test it.
