We are existing customers with a non-Unlimited plan. We do not want to upgrade our plan. We do not need new lines. We have two existing devices, only one of which is eligible for trade in (an Iphone 6).
What we need are two new devices. We're looking at some mix of iPhone 12s (a 12 and a 12pro, or 2 pros, or a pro and a pro max, etc).
I can't seem to find any incentives that would apply to us that DON'T involve upgrading service, new lines, or trade ins of recent phones.
Anyone have any recommendations? I want to stay with Verizon, but need some sort of incentive, even a modest one, on new phones to do so. I know it won't compete with offers to switch, but I also don't want to be wholly subsidizing all the new members who are getting great deals to come to Verizon.
Many others have asked same recently seems that only new customers get any deals or need to add a line i.e new service don't think it's fair
I don't expect that they'd offer me the same deal as a new customer, that's an incentive to switch, I get the economics. But it would be nice to have SOME sort of incentive to stay. You listening Verizon reps? I'm not a hard sell...
I tried several times to ask over chat, but it takes forever to get anyone, and they're obviously either translating on the fly, or are dealing with multiple people simultaneously. I wait several minutes between replies, and half the time it takes way too long just to get someone to begin with.
Do think there chat is talking to several people at a time often just get repeat script and five minutes reply time
exactly. I'd rather wait longer up front and have someone focus on me then just endlessly waiting between responses.
