Device credits and swapping phones with an added new line

I currently have 3 phones on our family plan. I paid for each phone at the full retail price when I added each line, and I'm getting monthly Full Retail Device Promo Credits for each phone on my bill for several more months. This monthly credit is from the promotions offered when I added each line.

I'm going to add a new line for my daughter and I'd love to take advantage of the current promos to get an iPhone 14 for cheap with a trade-in when I add that line.

I want to use that phone for myself, while my daughter can use my existing phone. My phone is an iPhone 13.

I know I can add a new line with a new iPhone 14 and the trade-in promo, then swap phones so the iPhone 14 is assigned to my number and the iPhone 13 is assigned to my daughter's number. My question is: can I do that while continuing to receive the existing Full Retail Device Promo Credits I'm getting for my iPhone 13 AND the new credit I'll start to receive for the trade-in to get the iPhone 14?

FYI - I called customer service and spoke to sales. Juan told me that I would lose the Full Retail Device Promo Credit if I did this. It didn't seem right, so I'm happy to get the clarification in writing.  Thank you so much!
