Digital secure not working
Herewego18
Newbie

I received email notifications that my info was on the dark web. However, when I went to review the information on Digital Secure, the app won't open and it just says "Something isn't right. Try again later."

Anyone else have this issue?

We want to make sure you're able to use the Digital Secure app to help safeguard your information. What troubleshooting have you tried apart from opening and closing the app? What phone are you using?

I'm worried your phone got hacked and the Digital Secure app was disabled as a part of that so the hackers could access your information within the phone.  If that turns out to be the case, you're going to have to factory reset your phone, erasing everything on it and "starting over".  Would also recommend contacting all 3 credit bureaus and putting out a fraud alert on all your bank accounts and check all your accounts for suspicious activity.  Good luck.

This seems a little like overkill, paranoid overreaction to me.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the app before you lock down all your bank accounts under the assumption you've been compromised.  Good baby buddha, man, maybe wifi is just down momentarily.  Let's not jump to the most worrisome conclusion immediately with zero evidence..

The OP mentioned they were getting emails saying their personal information was on the dark web along with Digital Secure not working.  While the emails could be fraudulent and a ploy to get someone to sign up for fake "cleanup" services, it doesn't hurt to check one's credit report to make sure nothing fishy's going on.
