Downloading text messages

I’m trying to download all text messages from one person. Can’t find any info on how to do this. I have an iPhone 14 and have tried Verizon app and don’t see where I can get copy of these text messages.

They weren’t deleted. I just need a copy of these text messages of certain dates and wondered how I can do this
