I switched to Verizon one month ago and within 3 days my phone began intermittently dropping calls. It has done this in multiple locations. Three times it was at the exact 30 minute mark in the call. Other times it is when my phone rings and I answer. Every single time I get the same weird messageโฆ something like:
โThe Verizon customer youโre trying to call has restrictions and your call cannot be completedโ
The message makes zero sense since Iโm receiving calls or in the middle of calls when it happens. It never happened with ATT.
They made me do tier 1 troubleshooting twice, then get a new sim, then have tier 2 reactivate the simโฆ still happening. They finally did a ticket but if I donโt have someone tell me what might be happening today Iโm changing back to ATT.

Iโm saddened youโve been having trouble with those dropped calls acemichaels. It'd be sad to see you leave the VZ family so soon after joining us. Weโve sent a Private Note so that we can assist further.

I have a similar issue. I've had Verizon for about 4 years and the past 2-3 years I've been having that dropped call issue with that same error message. I've called Verizon and went through ever possible trouble shooting solution with no actual help. I had this same issue with my previous phone/device and the most recent representative told me since I have insurance if it keeps happening we can use my insurance to get me another phone/device. Smh. They clearly don't listen. This has been happening for so long and it happend with another phone/device I had as well so it's not the phone/device but their network. I've been so fed up that I just stopped calling because it's so frustrating and no one listens or is any help! I only stuck with them for the just kids plan features at the time for my daughter but I'm thinking that might've been a problem with the dropped calls, even though they swore it wasn't the problem (the just kids plan). My daughter is now at an age where I can consider getting her off the just kids plan so I might just switch carriers because the dropped calls are still happening and Verizon is no help at fixing the problem yet their monthly phone plans keep increasing in price!

One of our main goals is to provide reliable service, and we'd like to help and find the route cause of the issue. To better assist, please tell us a little more. Are you experiencing issues indoors or outdoors? Is your device software up to date? Are you using Regular or Wi-Fi Calling?
