I’ve been with Verizon roughly 6 months. We got iPhone 14s because that was the promo they had going on at the time and we just desperately wanted a new phone company to work with. We’d had enough with AT&T and finally had the chance to switch.
But now I’m wondering if I chose right. I really want the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I’ve heard so many good things, I also enjoy a bigger phone. I only had the basic unlimited cell plan, and realized it didn’t seem to offer upgrades, so I went on my app and upgraded my phone plan to the Ultimate Unlimited Plan. It’s the most expensive plan, and it specifically lists phone upgrades in the perks.
So here’s the problem and my question. I went to upgrade my phone, and it’s still telling me I’ve got to completely pay off my current iPhone 14 before I can upgrade? I do NOT want to keep the 14, I wanted to trade it in for the 15 Pro Max, and just pay monthly for the new device and service plan with it. I’m confused. What does the upgrade include if you still have to pay off your current device in full? I see no point in upgrading my plan at this point and I’m about to switch it back to the basic if I dont figure this out, because it seems really stupid to me. Also, my iPhone 14 is in EXCELLENT shape. It’s been screen protected in an Otter Box since day 1. No damages at all.
Someone help…. Send some advice, something lol
