External speaker not working

I was talking to a client and all of a sudden I was not able to hear him but he heard me. I need to know what to do to resolve this issue it's a very important hand free feature when driving. Please respond asap

Rvelez, I agree that the speakerphone is a vital function of using the phone when driving. Let's figure out what's going on. Are you able to hear from the earpiece? Does anything seem to be blocking the speaker at the bottom of the phone? Try playing music and see if that plays thru the speaker. If still no speaker, please try resetting your phone by pressing and holding the Home button and sleep/wake buttons for 10 seconds until the Apple pops up. Let me know if this is still occuring.
