I just transitioned from an old Android phone to an iPhone 12 Pro. I have spent hours working with Verizon and Apple, visual voicemail is still not working, and I get these strange verizon sync text messages. If the problem has been around for this long, or at least a similar one, I cannot believe someone does not have a solution!

@BigJohnK, thanks for reaching out to us about this via this platform. Voicemail is an essential feature, so I want to make sure all the components are working as they should be. Please respond to this Private Note, so I can assist you better. -Dia

I have now spent more hours with Verizon Tech Support than I like to count. Today I went to the corporate Verizon Store hoping for help. Other than being told it would be a 2 hour wait and being given a "special" tech support number that hung up on me, no progress. It is obvious that Verizon's systems still think I have my Android phone even though I bought this iPhone from Verizon. I am ready to move to another carrier or at least to use a third party app like Google Voice Mail as a work around. Pretty pathetic customer service from what used to be a premium service company.

I gave up on getting a resolution from Verizon! I signed up for Google Voice Mail and redirected voicemail to that account. Sad that Verizon can’t fix their own services.
