Global Plan a bust in India

So now that we're in India, having upgraded to an iPhone 5C just so we can have global phone usage, our phones don't work. You cannot access live chat from here either, even within the hours provided. So we are stuck.

We really need to be able to call local Indian numbers. We really need to be able to class each other.

WISH we could somehow contact VERIZON!  Lacking that, any ideas?
