I have been charged for the pay off of my daughter's phone $316 for the pay off of her phone. On hold with VERIZON FOR 37 minutes and then hung up on.... agent had barking dog in background. I never gave authorization for the payment. My daughter had it charged to my account so she could go to her dad's account (ATT).
There was so much verification (2 step) getting a code, number, but no one disclosed or asked for authorization that the phone would be debited to my account (taken right out of my bank).
How can I get my $$ back?
Are you the account owner of your account that previously included your daughter's line? Did she have permission to make changes to your account to allow her line to be ported to AT&T?
