Help! No phone and need account access (Two factor authentication failure!)

My phone was stolen and I’m trying to log into my Verizon account but to authenticate my log in a passcode is sent to my phone for verification. I can’t check the phone because it’s stolen. There is no other way anyone can get a hold of a Verizon support without logging in.

Help, I’m in a foreign country and don’t have a phone. I’m currently using my ipad to post on this site to get Verizon help. Fingers cross they actually read through these and can help me directly. You can email me at [email address removed per the Verizon Terms of Service]

So sorry this happened to you.  My dad lost his phone overseas last year and the only recourse was to use a different phone to place an international call to the carrier.  Not sure if the online chat thing will work overseas, but if CS sends you a PM asking to authenticate your account so they can get into it, that's another way to access your account.

I'm deeply sorry that you had your device stolen while traveling. I've sent a Private Message so we can review options and get the device put on a lost/stolen suspend.

Hello, P_Tink. My apologies to hear the phone has been stolen while traveling abroad. Help is here. When outside the US, you will not be able to access the online My Verizon as international servers are blocked from accessing to prevent fraud, but we do offer international customer service. Please be sure to call us toll-free at 00 800-50050099 for further assistance.

Thanks, Natasha, for including the toll-free number to call International Services Support if one is in France.  If anyone else comes across this thread, there are different toll-free numbers to reach International Services Support depending on where you are in the world.  See this .pdf file available on the Verizon website:

https://www.verizon.com/support/pdf/BPOD-I2400-Toll-Free-Numbers-V5.pdf

If the country you're in isn't listed, then you have to call the number given in the small print at the bottom right, which will incur international calling charges.  I think you have to dial a "1" before that number before it'll work.
