Depends on your plan. If you are on an older unlimited plan, it's either $30/mo for unlimited hot spot, or $20 for 2 Gig ad'l data allowance. On the tiered plans it's $20/mo for 2 Gig add'l allowance, and on the Share Everything plan it's included at no extra charge (just an unitemized portion of that monstrous $40 monthly access fee).

The data usage draws from your data allotment, so choose your data plan accordingly (i.e., a low level like 1 or 2 GB may not be enough if you use the hotspot a lot).
