How do I make my I phone 6 a hotspot so I can use my I pad. There is no WIFI where I am at.

Try this:

To connect, from the home screen, tap Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot. Slide the switch next to Personal Hotspot to turn it on.

My hotspot won't connect to my toshiba laptop, I've tried connecting using wifi, Bluetooth, and tethering and none of them work. My laptop shows the iPhone but it doesn't let it connect and my iPhone doesn't pop up the blue bar at the top saying the hotspot is on. Any help? I use my hotspot to do homework on my laptop.

What happens when you have everything off on the iPhone; wi-fi, bluetooth off and then turn on the hotspot?

What happens when you go into the networks on the toshiba and can see the iPhone's hotspot and click it?

Have you power cycled the phone and laptop
