All Verizon phones are unlocked.

The FCC demands that all 4G devices, regardless of carrier is unlocked.

One thing you should keep in mind is that compatibility is the biggest issue overseas. The reason is because the phone is made to specifically run on VZW towers, and not Vodafone, Movistar, Telefonica etc.

The good thing is if you have an Apple device, those are typically interchangeable and usually don't have too much of an issue.
