The other day took the iOS 10.2 update by way of the computer using iTunes, to a iPhone 6s plus 128GB. The video icon which came by default is now missing from the home screen, along with the videos.
They were backed up. But when trying to sync them back to the iPhone, using iTunes, it was unsuccessful with a message, video folder is missing on the iPhone.
So I'm trying to figure out how to restore the original video icon to get the videos back on the iPhone. So appreciate any help you may have.

Salisbury,
I don't know what I'd do if I didn't have my videos on my iPhone. It's very strange that the update removed the videos folder since the update should only enhance your experience. Let's take a look into what options are available to help. iOS 10 itself came with a great new option to delete some of the preinstalled apps and folders, so this may be part of what's going on. When you go to the App Store and search for Videos, does the icon show up in the list for apps that are available to install/download?

Hi ShawnteJ, thank you for your response and great info. You are correct in what you posted: iOS 10.2 came with a great new feature to delete some of the pre-installed Apps and Folders, so this may be part of what's going on.
So basically 10.2 deletes the Video Folder and creates a TV App icon which all your videos go into. I removed the TV App thinking I didn't need it, where I already have the Xfinity App. So I basically caused my own problem with lack of knowledge.
So I re-installed Apples TV App, that comes with 10.2 then Synced with iTunes and all is well.
Thank-you so much, I was stumped on this lol. Also Verizon has the best wireless coverage, we already know that though! regards Salisbury
