You will need the NFL Mobile App. If you don't have it already just go to the app store and download it

NFL Mobile app also does not use data.

I did a "test" last Thursday night, watched a few minutes using .23 GB - so far it seems to be using my plan data, but my billing closes in a few days, so I'll see what the final result is.  Others have reported watching entire games and not getting charged the data ... I don't have enough in my plan to do that and risk the overage, so I'll most likely continue to watch over wifi until I'm absolutely sure it won't use my plan data.

I might test it tonight although I'll be watching from my tv so it would solely be for research. Since I still have unlimited data I can do it without concern but it's also why I probably haven't noticed if it uses data...I just haven't paid attention nor do I do it often enough for me to pay attention.
