How do I merge my iPhone contacts with my Google contact list?

I somehow lost my address book and contact list.i visited a Verizon store yesterday and was unable to get

contact list restored.  I was, however, able to find my old contact list on Google. How do I merge this list with my iPhone 6 Plus contact list?  Thank you,
