How do I transfer contacts from VZW App to iPhone 4?

I am running the updated VZW Transfer App on the iphone 4 with no contacts on the phone, but over 100 contacts on the Verizon Website.  How do I get those contacts over to my phone?  The app say "receiving 0 contacts" and my phone doesn't update.

I know how important it is to have access to your contacts! I'm glad you have successfully backed up your contacts to Backup Assistant. Now, let's get these contacts moved over to your iPhone!

To start, we will remove VZ Contact Transfer from your iPhone 4. http://support.verizonwireless.com/clc/devices/knowledge_base.html?id=39865

Next, let's power your phone off; then back on.

Once the phone is back on, be sure that Wifi is turned off. The VZ Contact Transfer application must be performed over the Verizon Wireless data network and not a WiFi network.
