I'm out of the US for two months and would like to set up call forwarding on my phone to a different US number. When in network, its easy, but how do I do it when I'm roaming?

Can you set it up before you leave the country?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Hi Ann154,
Great question! Call forwarding would need to be setup while on the Verizon Wireless Network. The feature will not work when roaming per other carriers will not recognize *72,or *73. You can also set the forwarding up online via MyVerizon http://bit.ly/xB4iTc .
Thanks,

I can help you with your request, RJMang. Call Forwarding can not be initiated like normal due to you being outside of the US. However, we can help you forward your calls to another US number. I've already began following you. Please follow me (ChaunceyM_VZW) and send me a direct message. Please include your wireless number and the last four of your social security number or billing password. I look forward to hearing back from you. A
