I have been text bombed 4 times by 3 different e-mails. I know who it is, but need to prove it before I can file harassment charges. How can I find out who it is or track the IP address. I went to the cops and they said they can't do anything, but to contact verizon. Do I need a subpoena for verizon to give that info or will they? Has anyone dealt with anything like this before???

You can forward the harassment emails to the Federal Trade Commission via "spam@uce.gov". Plus you can forward any"Spam Text Messages" to the FTC at "7726" (SPAM). The FTC will enter the emails/texts/messages into a Data Base for Law Enforcement to use to take action with.

Hello serpentcharmer! Sorry to read about the harassment! You are on the right path. A subpoena is needed to obtain that information. I hope that issue is resolved swiftly. bobbyn_vzw Follow us on Twitter @VZWSupport
