I received some very poor service and I can contemplating leaving Verizon. Which email can I send my complaints to?

Good afternoon,

Thank you so much for getting back to me, I have listed my complaint below.

I have been a customer of Verizon Wireless for over a decade and this past week I had a situation arise at one of your stores that made me grossly reconsider remaining a consumer for the future.

I updated the firmware on my phone which the phone told me to do, since I trust the notifications that the phone displays I decided to do it. It took some time to update, then once it completed the phone locked up and would only display the Apple icon before restarting. This continued on and one and the phone would not turn on but would remain on the apple screen. My phone was not backed up, nothing was on my computer, I went to one of your stores for help and spoke with one the Verizon employees there--- they proved to be completely unhelpful. Their response was "I don't know, maybe you should take it to Apple". How is that an acceptable response? I pay you money to be my phone company and when I have a problem your employees are deer in headlights with me? I lost all my photos, data, everything and your employee had no help to offer. Why do I pay you?

Unfortunately, this is the not the first time I had an issue with a Verizon employee and I can not remember the last time I had a positive exchange with anyone who works for Verizon. Let's not forget about the time two or so weeks ago when my LTE just didn't work for close to 12 hours and the employees response was "I don't know why" ( I am starting to see a theme here)

This situation needs to be rectified as soon as possible and I do believe that some compensation is due. If that is not the case, I do not foresee me or my family remaining with Verizon much longer.

     CahnJoshua, the primary purpose and goal of the Verizon corporate store is to assist in the purchase of brand new devices such as the iPhone. Along with a plan, accessories, insurance, etc. along with usually letting you know that Apple also provides a 1 year warranty free of charge. Most stores also provide a free weekly class on how to use the basic functions on the iPhone. And they do a great job.

   So the store employee was correct in referring you to Apple. There are three places to go for advanced technical help. An Apple store, the Apple support forum, and the Verizon support forum. Now the first place to start for technical assistance would be the support forums for free. Because if the iPhone is not clearly having a manufacturers defect, then the Apple store is also going to try to sell you a brand new iPhone. They're not just sitting around waiting for people to walk in to repair software problems for free.

I did not back up my data and that is the huge problem is that I lost ALL of my data and your employee was not able to help in any way. The update locked up my phone and there was not way to open it and it was not backed up.

   CahnJoshua, have you tried to Force Start or plug the iPhone into a computer and use iTunes to try and recover it?

Here's a link that provides some good instructions. There's the possibility that the iOS can be reinstalled without your data being erased. I assume, though the data was not backed up that it still remains on the iPhone. Also have you logged onto the iCloud website to check if perhaps the phone did upload any files?

I, too, have a service complaint that I would love to email to someone.  But since that is not possible, let me say this - I have been a Verizon customer for probably 20 years now and I'm so tired of calling, arguing, etc. Everytime I upgrade a phone, my plans are changed. I've explained to your agents countless times that I live part-time in Mexico. Last month, my husband incurred about $250 in fees for using his phone in Mexico, yet I changed nothing. I called and had the charges reversed and the woman I spoke to told me that I have been paying for data in Mexico for the past year. I never used the data part of the plan, so on this trip, I used my cell phone for about 10 minutes with data turned on and I incurred another $50 fee. I'M SICK OF YOUR COMPANY CHANGING PLANS, SENDING ME CONFUSING LETTERS, AND OF YOUR RIDICULOUS WEBSITE. Case in point - I can't even send an email. I need to put this on the community chat. When I return to the USA, I'm going to seek another carrier. Sorry, I love Verizon and their coverage but your constantly switching my plan is so confusing. I can't take it anymore.
