I just got a my new 5s, and my data from my old 5s only transferred up to April 2014. How do I get more recent data on my new phone?

I just setup my new iPhone 5s. The data transferred to my new phone dates back to April 2014. How do I retrieve more recent texts, photos and data? I have been using backup assist since Feb. 2014.

Let's get your data synced to your phone. Did you back up your content through Verizon cloud?  If so, you can view what content was stored online at http://vz.to/IsygQ6.  Do you know if you did a back up through icloud?  You can also check if you have anything store in icloud by checking here http://bit.ly/1gOqhbW.
