Hi! I am traveling to Italy tomorrow. I need to know how to turn off my service. I do not want to send/receive phone calls or text messages. I also do not want roaming charges. I want my cell phone service to be basically nonexistent! Could anyone tell me how to do this? Also, will it cost if I keep the WIFI activated? Thank you in advance!
Turn off the phone and leave it off, is one option. The second option is to put the phone in airplane when you get on the first plane and leave it there the entire trip. You should be able to turn on the wifi radio when you are near a wifi hotspot to access the internet then.
