This is fraud and it's rancid to think they can charge this, to keep me as a customer.
Good luck finding another carrier that doesn't charge an upgrade fee. Most of the others are even higher.
What got me pissed is that my contract still had the "new every two" which used to be $100 upgrade credit.
I went to upgrade and it showed as a $30 credit... then on checkout they charge $30 upgrade fee. There goes my "new every two". What a bitch
And just think, the next time you go to upgrade, you won't even get that extra $30 credit since Verizon canned the NE2 program.
Its not sneaky, and its not fraud. Its the cost of doing business.
And I cant believe that you (or anyone else) does not know about the upgrade fee. Its all over the forums. Just in the amount of time it took you to register, surely you saw at least two posts on this very subject. Please research before posting.

and it has been all over the news stations also....
They made a hubbub about it a few weeks ago. People knew.
my question is.. did you still upgrade?
To reiterate what the majority has shared, it is definitely NOT fraudulent. More to the point, though, if you had looked a bit more carefully, you would have seen the $30 upgrade fee listed under the cost of the equipment and the "add to cart" option. I just upgraded recently and noticed this and checked out another eligible line and it was there as well. They list it before the upgrade even occurs. It isn't even "sneaky".
Welcome to OUR WORLD:) Verizon always has and always will find a new excuss for their scams Not their fault....Oh Never said the "SILVER HAIR FOX"
