I am unable to access my voicemail and haven't been in quite some time. I tried inputting my phone number as mailbox # but it states that its invalid. I tried calling customer service from mine and account owner's phone without any resolution (bc it sends a chat to the troubled phone then claims I can't do anything bc I'm not the account owner. We all are using android devices.
I'm about to switch services if I can't have basic voicemail.

The basic "listen to your voicemails on the phone" is accessed by dialing *86 and entering your login PIN for the voicemail. If you've forgotten your PIN, login to your account on My Verizon and go to Reset Voicemail Password.
If your phone was originally a different carrier's model and is now unlocked, it could very well be using a different process for voicemail (I am 100% sure T-Mobile phones are configured differently for voicemail, don't know about AT&T). There's a process for editing the speed dial shortcut of holding down the 1 button on your phone keypad to get it to automatically dial *86 for voicemail, but I've forgotten how to do this off the top of my head. You can add *86 as a contact on your phone and it will work too.
BTW, you said you're using an Android phone, but your thread is in the Apple phone forum?
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
