Iphone 4: Dropped call problem fixed on Verizon version? (Buying a case?)

Has anyone seen any tech info on whether the Verizon iphone 4 design was improved to fix the problems AT&T users were having with dropped calls? Supposedly using a case prevents the dropped calls, but they may be hard to find for a Verizon iphone. I've read that the buttons on the rim of the phone will be in slightly different locations so AT&T iphone 4 cases won't fit the Verizon iphone well.  Just wondered if anyone had heard if they solved this issue or if others are looking for cases to fit the new phone? Thoughts and tips on where to purchase a case appreciated!

I bought my case on Amazon -- they list the ones that work on the Verizon iPhone. Got a Splash hard case and am loving it so far. No dropped calls yet.

I've had about 7 calls dropped so far since monday morning. I never had a dropped call with my lg dare. I just put a case on that came in the mail finally. Hope this helps. I let Verizon know about the calls. Hope case helps, kind of disappointed.

I read using the case reduced the reception signal strength, usually by 1 bar. Any experience with that?

So far I am mostly pleased. My iphone can hold a call even while driving through rual nevada on extended network 1 bar and no data. With no cover/ case. I guess im lucky?  n,n
