I have verizon account. Went to Verizon center and i wanted to unblock phone since i m taking phone to Ecuador. The front desk lady said phone is already unblocked.. Is this correct

Yes it is unlocked as far as the SIM card being unlocked. You can insert a local SIM card for Ecuador and be fine.

@Paquete53 Iphone 5SWhat type of phone is it?  Verizon sells their 4g phones unlocked.  However, if it's 3g there may be additonal steps.
