I've had iPhones and been with Verizon for over 20 Years. No previous major problems. Big advocate of both.
I now have the iphone15. Worst phone ever, worst service ever. People call: it goes straight to voice mail, yet it doesn't show I got a call or a voicemail. People call: they get a busy sound. People call: they say it rings forever but i have no indication. People call: drops calls over and over. I call out: call failed. Move around: call drops. All this is random! Might be 1 time a day or many more. Internet service, apps and texting are fine. I have 8 pages of notes speaking with Verizon. Many, many, many hours. Nothing works. Most phone calls promised are not returned.

What does your phone say the network setting is? If it's "5G On", then the phone will only use 5G and I think that's problematic for voice calls, because Verizon still uses VoLTE for voice calls, so you'd want the phone to be on either "5G Auto" or "LTE" if calls aren't working, but everything else is.
Calls failing to come in or dropping are usually due to poor signal strength. Assuming that you haven't moved to someplace where Verizon doesn't work well, something I read in the forums several months ago from an iPhone user having problems was they realized their home internet router's Wi-Fi was interfering with their Verizon reception and had to change out their router with their ISP, then all was well.
If you are using Wi-Fi on your phone, I saw a different thread recently from where the person reported if the Wi-Fi is running on 5 GHz spectrum, Wi-Fi calls will not work. They had to switch their Wi-Fi to 2.4 GHz before it worked.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

Hello, dannny. Help is here as we truly appreciate your many years of business and hope to have you for many more. My apologies to hear of the issues with your device. Please share more info. Does it matter where you are located when these issues happen? Any pending software updates? So sorry to ask but, is there any damage to the phone, physical or liquid?

Same problem. Been troubleshooting.
many reboots
One complete reset, and using phone without restored backup, which also included reregestering the eSIM
anther new eSIM by Verizon rep
Many network resets.
The same problem, dropped calls, about 15 seconds to regain network.I really want to replace the phone, but at the same time considering other carriers now.
