Is there a work around?
Try a soft reset or reinstall the backup of your previous version. If you look for assistance, I strongly suggest going to Apple, not Verizon. Apple will get to the bottom of the problem.
npatel1, this is really odd. I am sorry to learn that you are having trouble with calls and internet access. I have an iPhone X as well with the new software and didn't encounter this specific trouble. Let's get it figured out.
By chance, have you powered cycled the phone? How about resetting the network settings? (http://spr.ly/66041HK44) What happens when you try to make a call or access the internet (without being connected to Wi-Fi)?
