Very recently I expanded my Verizon plan and allowed my boyfriend to get an iPhone SE, with the understanding that monthly he will pay for the extra on the plan and the payment on the phone. A day later I found out some awful stuff and we have broken up. He will not give me the phone back. I have suspended the iPhone SE with Verizon, had them put my old plan back in place and will continue to pay monthly for the phone that I don't have. The Verizon guy said I could also, since I have insurance on it, report it as lost/stolen so then I would get another iPhone SE and all I would have to do is pay the deductible. I would still be paying on the old phone, but it was my understanding, I would not have to pay on the replacement since I have insurance. Does anyone know if this in fact is true? My son told me his friend reported his lost and had to pay on both.
Replacement will be $199.
