I placed an order online for the IPhone 15 Pro max but for some reason, the order was never fully processed. I contacted the nearest Verizon store and they placed a new order for me and put in a request to cancel the original order. I received the phone and proceeded to send in my trade-in. The phone sent in was in pristine condition and I expected to receive the full $830.00 credit. I then receive an email stating that I was only given a $225.00 credit. I did notice that the trade-in was applied to the wrong order number (the one that was not processed). I'm hoping that is the reason for the low trade-in value and the issue can be fixed and applied to the correct order number. In any case, had I known the value would drop that significantly, I would never had turned in the phone. I could have personally sold it for much more. We purchased a total of 2 IPhone 15 Pro Max on our account and received only a $225.00 credit? It makes no sense.

That's a large difference is trade-in credit, and I want to make sure we're able to fix it for you. The last thing we want is for you to feel unsatisfied with any part of your upgrade. We're going to send you a Private Note so we can help.

I had the same issue. The phone I was trading in was in perfect condition. I had Apple care on the phone and issues were always addressed directly with Apple. It had no scratches or cracks. My husbands phone was identical and we sold it for close to $700 on eBay. I was promised $830 from Verizon and I only got $399! Already called about this issue and still not resolved. They were supposed to move this issue up the chain and get back to me weeks ago, but never did. Probably time for a complaint to BBB for their deception.
