Mistakenly upgraded software - how do I go back?

I made the obvious mistake of upgrading my iPhone 4D to the new 6.0 software - now my battery drains VERY quickly - doing nothing with it - it used to last me all day - probably several days if I didn't plug it in each night - i want to go back to what I had - how do I do that?  I'm thinking I'll never purchase another iPhone -

You can't go back unless they replace it.

Well – that is an unacceptable answer – I see posts all over Google talking about how to downgrade….I was a little hesitant to do it myself. The upgrade has been awful with my battery life barely lasting the morning – I would like another option.

It has been know since the first iPhone that you can't downgrade the baseband.  It requires a lot of work to just downgrade the software.  If you look hard enough searching you will find out how to downgrade.

If you search you'll find it. The link will be deleted if posted to do it.

Tidbits is correct. It's against the TOS (terms of service) we all agreed to when we signed up to be able to post here that we wouldn't post links of that nature.

He was helpful, he informed you that with a little searching, you can find it. Perhaps if you try some of the other peer-to-peer websites they can assist you also.

My wife has an iPhone and recently upgraded to iOS6 but she hasn't mentioned anything to me regarding battery life since she did. She did say that after she installed iOS6 she did have to make some settings changes but she didn't tell me specifically which ones.

Best of luck to you.
