My front facing camera stopped working. What can I do to fix this?

It stopped working about a week ago.  I can still use the other camera but when I switch to the front one the shutter closes and it no longer works. Please help!

Hello tmsipos11! That certainly sounds like an aggravating thing to occur! At this point, I recommend making sure that your iPhone 4s has the most recent software. The next upgrade is available now! If you've done so and yet still have this problem, please let me know!

I am having the same problem, however, the only time my rear facing camera works is when I press the home button twice, as if I am force quitting the app.  I have attempted to download the OS update 6.1.1 however it hangs at 11hrs download time.  I can download a tv episode at the same time and it only takes a few minutes but the update from Apple takes half a day.

My software is up to date and still is having the same problem.  Is there anything else I can do to fix it?
