In a meeting today, my phone was sitting on my desk. I got a phone call from my husband who left me a message asking me why I called him. I looked at my recent calls and at 12:20 my phone randomly dialed three people from my contacts list on it’s own. My husband said that he received a text message about an hour before from someone who wanted to know who he was and why he was calling them. My husband did not call the number and did not know the person, but it was in his recent calls. Same scenario, he wasn’t anywhere near his phone at the time. We both have PIN numbers and Touch ID. I called tech support who basically told me they had never heard of this and that level 2 tech support would call me back. That was three hours ago and no call. I have seen posts that this has been going on since 2010 with no solution. I have seen other posts from people who say their number has been stolen for spoofing spam callers. What is going on, does Verizon have a security breach they are not talking about? My software is the latest and greatest. Don’t want to have to change my numbers. Please explain or help.
JIPSY,
I'm so sorry to learn that this happened. Let's gather some information. Were the calls from yours and your husband's phone made on the same day? Has this happened since, or has it happened before? Please elaborate for me, thanks.

This is a known issue with Iphones. Id recommend taking this to the apple store to get a replacement. They have heard of this before and will know exactly what you are talking about.
