We recently moved to Comcast Infinity internet and purchased Apple iPhone 12s. Verizon sent us a Network Extender for the 5G phones. We can't get it downloaded because it gives an error message of 4a-check the ethernet cable. We have had several representatives help us to no avail.
We are not using the Comcast modem that you pay every month for, but instead an older model ARRIS Surfboard SB6183. The Network Extender for the older iPhones worked just fine with the ARRIS.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
