New iPhone SE not receiving standard text messages

I just switched from Android to iPhone and now I cannot receive standard text messages. If the other user is on an iPhone, it works but any other messages never come through.

Go to messages and tick send as sms when iMessage isn't available.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I already did that. Still not working.

We definitely want you to be able to send and receive text messages with your new iPhone SE! I am glad to hear that your SMS setting is turned on. Let's take a look at a few other things. Have you had a chance to reset your Network Settings? If not, please follow these steps:

  1. From a Home screen, navigate: Settings Settings icon > General > Reset.
  2. Tap Reset Network Settings.
    Note If prompted, enter your passcode.
  3. Tap Reset Network Settings.
