New plan, slower than old plan.

Yesterday I signed for unlimited data via GoBeyond.  Connectivity is abysmally slow.  Ping = 39ms.

DL = .6mbs

UL = .4mbs

I am out in the hinterlands, but hoped for better connectivity with upgraded plan.  If I upgrade to higher unlimited plan will speed improve?

I know how important it is to have a plan that best fits your needs. I would be concerned too if I were experiencing any issues with my data performance. For our unlimited plans, we have Go Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited and Above Unlimited. Which plan do you have? How much data have you used so far this month?

you're right in there, with the best verizon service, you'll only get is 5-12mbps.

unlimited data is a plan & no guarantee of fast service.
