No current text messages. My 6s+ was just replaced (exchanged). I did a restore from backup dated last week and all data restored but no current text messages. Is there a way to update texts?

aleanajoy,
We'd like to see you enjoying your device. The restore will only have information that was on the phone when you did the backup. Do you still have your previous phone to back it up again? If so, I would recommend backing it up and restoring your current phone to that most recent backup. Beyond that, there will not be an option to restore any information dated after you did that original back up.
