Last week we had no service for five days. Spoke to numerous people when I could because the calls kept dropping and had to go from one person to another and no one helped. I even had an extender and the one person where the service lasted long enough blamed my internet service . One person was suppose to call me back never did, no surprise there. Then on Saturday had service. It is now Wednesday and we have no service again. We will probably have to look into switching carriers. The extender right now says service active but yet we have none.

It's our priority that your service is working properly, and we are here to help. Is this issue currently impacting multiple devices? Do you see any bars of signal on your devices? ~Geo

This is very frustrating since we just had the same issue last week for five days! Now here we are again with the same issue. Obviously they have not corrected the problem. We are not in a good area but have never had problems like this and we have an extender which probably isn't any good either.

Rere1214, we understand how concerning it is to be experiencing service issues. We recommend that we begin by troubleshooting your device with the steps listed here: https://www.verizon.com/support/devices/#mobile . To begin, you will want to locate your phone model to troubleshoot your service issues. From there, we recommend choosing the "No voice service or signal" option. Please give it a try and let us know if you notice any improvement after completing the listed steps.

There is no option that says "No Voice Service or signal". Have done all the trouble shooting numerous times. Some days I have service some days I don't. Yesterday had dropped calls and no service. Can't see any resolution and Verizon doesn't seem to care about our area whatsoever.

What's your ZIP code? Maybe you're in an area where Verizon just doesn't work well. There are no-coverage holes on the coverage map, but all 3 carriers have holes in their maps. There are other potential causes for poor/no service such as too much interference from walls, buildings, hills, mountains, or even thick forests, living next to something generating strong EMF or being close to an airport, where the air traffic controller tower's radio transmissions can block cell phone reception.

We don't want you to be uncertain about your service. We recommend accessing this link: https://www.verizon.com/support/devices/#mobile and finding your phone model to troubleshoot your service issues. There's a few options available, but we recommend choosing the "No voice service or signal" option. Please give it a try and let us know if you notice any improvement after.

Has your service always been spotty, or is it only within the past few days your service started dropping in and out? If it's only a new phenomenon, then it's likely an outage which can take some time to resolve. But if things have always been bad to where you can't count on your devices even working from one day to the next, then it's time to ask around and see if any other carrier works better and switch.
