My daughters' phone is having issues. We have an iPhone 4, and lately, I am unable to hear her when she calls me, unless it is on speaker. Her phone is not on Mute; I have had her check that several time. I am not sure why this is happening. Any one else having this issue, if so, what did you have to do to get it fixed? I have read that several people have had this same issue. Any thoughts?
Hi cnoto81,
Let's see what's causing the problem! Does the issue only occur when speaking with you? Has her device been exposed to any physical or water damage? When did the problem begin? I look forward to hearing from you soon.

my husband had two 4s have complete speaker failure. one good drop and its game over.
Have you taken it to the Genius Bar at an Apple store? If not, I would suggest making an appointment and having them look at it.
Did you get the newest software update? Try that first. The links below speak of your concern. Do not have verizon touch it, go to an apple store.
