Phone calls taking forever to connect

Sometime it can take up to 3 minutes for an out going call to connect. It does not seem to matter how many bars I have or where I am. I have cleared my call history, upgraded my phone (today) and still the same problem. Also incoming calls have the same issue (take minutes before I can hear the caller). Help!

Amalak1, we don't want you to have any problems with your calls, and we'd be happy to help you take care of the situation. Do you have any problems with your data or texting? Just to make sure I understand, do you mean that the phone needs to ring for about 3 minutes, or are you able to answer the call, but it's silent for about 3 minutes before you can hear the other person?

I just upgraded my phone to an iPhone 15 (I was told my iPhone 11 was the issue). And I still have the same issues:
when I place a call it either never gets out / the phone just freezes and I have to swipe up to close out the phone call OR I the call goes through but I never hear it ring and the caller answers my call but the audio never connects…so they hang up and my call disconnects
When someone calls me the phone doesn’t ring. I only know they call me because I see I missed their call.
My husband has the same service with Verizon and calls my phone while we are in the same room. I call him while we are in the same room. And the above happens…it’s definitely not my connect or poor coverage because he wouldn’t be able to call me.
I’ve powered down my phone, cleared out my call history, reset the factory settings on my phone…and nothing improves.
I spoke to Verizon and they opened a ticket…and then texted me saying it was resolved (that there must be a coverage issue - which cannot be the case).
I sincerely appreciate any help you can provide

Thanks so much for that info. To make sure we're on the same page, is yoru husband able to make/receive calls without a problem? For you, is this happening with every call you make/receive? How long has this issue been going on?
